Trailblazing Montgomery County, Maryland, leader, activist and public servant Odessa Shannon dies at 91.

Trailblazing Montgomery County, Maryland, leader, activist and public servant Odessa Shannon died Sunday.

Shannon was the first African American woman elected to the Montgomery County Board of Education.
