A 9-year-old is being praised for helping her mom deliver her baby sister at home in Belton, Missouri. On June 28, Angelica Gunn, 30, started having contractions a week before her expected due date. Gun, who was uncertain if she was experiencing a false alarm, said earlier in the week she experienced intense contractions, but it was determined to be false labor. During an interview with Good Morning America , the 30-year-old said “…midday the contractions just kicked in really hard.” She said she then “felt the urge to push all of a sudden.” Gunn’s husband was at work at the time and the only two people present were her daughter Aakayla, 9, and her 4-year-old son. The mother to be knew she did not have time to seek medical attention and would need to solicit her daughter for help. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Angelica Gunn (@thelostbutterflies)
