Luanda — Angola has registered another positive case of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing to 70 the number of infected people in the country.

According to the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, who was making the usual update of the pandemic situation in the country, on Monday, this is a case of local contamination, of a minor under six years old (asymptomatic), of the health fence of the urban district of Futungo, in the province of Luanda.

With this case, she pointed out, increases to 42 the number of cases of local transmission.

Angola has, thus, 70 positive cases, with four deaths, 18 recovered and 48 active people receiving medical treatment in the centers created for this purpose.

The Cabinet minister said that 1,059 people are under institutional quarantine.
