Fresh seafood, meats, produce as well as popular specialty dishes now available indoors
BALTIMORE, MD (June 26, 2020) – Northeast Market, the City’s Public Market serving Eastside residents and workers from The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and nearby businesses at 2101 E. Monument Street, will reopen Monday, June 29.
“The legacy businesses inside of the markets have supported customers and the community for decades,” he notes.
“Now, market merchants are energized and ready for the reopening of their businesses so that they can resume selling the signature dishes, fresh meats and seafood, staples and specialties customers have come to rely on.
For the health and safety of its customers, Northeast Market will operate at 50% capacity under the City’s Phase 2 requirements.
Northeast Market is the first Baltimore Public Market to reopen since the start of the pandemic, with the other Public Markets scheduled to resume operations in the coming weeks.
