Thursday a man was sentenced as a career offender. His conviction of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine resulted in 12 years imprisonment, along with five years of supervised release, a fine of $2,500, and a $100 special assessment, said United States Attorney Delia L. Smith.
