Ethiopia: Ethio-Djibouti Railway Vows to Reverse Losses

[Addis Fortune] The Ethio-Djibouti Gauge Railway is set to double the number of freight trains a day to four pairs by November in an effort to break even. It has been functioning with two pairs of freight trains a day - sending two trains to Addis and two to Djibouti - for the past year but is operating at a loss.
