The Food and Drug Administration has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on Monday for people 16 and older, according to BuzzFeed News. Pfizer’s vaccine is the first one to gain full FDA approval. The FDA approved the vaccine for emergency use in December, but needed more data from the company before it was fully approved.
