Public Enemy co-founder Flavor Flav rose to prominence in the mid 1980s, when hip-hop was steadily growing in popularity. Although he's no longer a member of the Grammy-nominated group, his impact on both the culture and reality television is monumental. Unfortunately, his tenure in the industry coupled with his early success means the 61-year-old did not have the chance to be around his children often.
