On December 18, 2022, the 911 Call Center dispatched a VIPD Unit to the Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center emergency room concerning a possible gunshot victim at that location. Upon arrival, contact was made with an Afro-American male who was being treated by emergency room physicians for a gunshot injury that occurred while in the area of Chicken and Bowling, Al Cohen’s Plaza.
