LeBron James  has surpassed an NBA record held by fellow Los Angeles Laker  Kareem Abdul-Jabbar  since 1984. During Tuesday night’s game, the superstar athlete broke the record for the most scored points by any NBA player in history, achieving an impressive 38,390 points in front of an enthusiastic crowd. James broke the career record in the third quarter when he scored his 36th point on a fadeaway jumper while up against the Oklahoma City Thunder, per  NPR . Many celebrities were there, including JAY-Z, Denzel Washington, Bad Bunny and Usher. NBA greats like James Worthy, A.C. Green and Abdul-Jabbar were also in the stands. His mother, Gloria, wife, Savannah, daughter, Zhuri, and sons, Bronny and Bryce, also cheered in the crowd.
