Linda Johnson Rice

Linda Johnson Rice is Chairman and CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, LLC (JPC) and owner of Fashion Fair Cosmetics, a global prestige cosmetics brand for women of color. Johnson formerly served as Publisher of the iconic EBONY and JET Magazines. Rice has served as Chairman since 2010.

Previously, Rice was JPC’s CEO, overseeing domestic and international business operations. Rice’s leadership delivered consistent growth as she championed initiatives extending the brand’s reach and increasing productivity.

Rice serves on the Boards of the United Negro College Fund, Northwestern Memorial Corporation, the Women’s and Trustee boards of the Art Institute of Chicago, After School Matters, and the Founding Council of the Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture.

Rice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
