Local Zeta OZZ Chapter Elect New Leadership – Free Press of Jacksonville

Continuing the 100th legacy and centennial celebration of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc., sorority, the local chapter Omega Zeta Zeta (OZZ), recently transitioned its presidential seat from past president Angela McDaniel to current member Lisa Gillette.

Incoming president Lisa Gillette has been a member of OZZ for five years.

“As Covid-19 being a major concern in the African American community, my goal as president is to utilize the sororities core values of sisterhood, scholarships, service and finer womanhood to educate and assist the underserved and bring awareness to African American health disparities, food desserts and advocate for members to provide community servicing to underserved residents to empower and uplift our communities,” said Gillette.
