Lydia M. Marshall was the Founder, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Versura Inc. of Washington, DC, the education loan exchange. Marshall is well respected in the financial services industry.Marshall served as Senior Vice President, then as Executive Vice President of Sallie Mae and as a Vice President of Citicorp.

Active in both professional and community affairs, Marshall is board chair of the Public Welfare Foundation, and former board chair of CARE International and of CARE USA, and former chair of Washington Performing Arts.

Marshall is a retired director of Seagate Technology, where she served as a lead independent director. Marshall is also a member of the board of Nationwide Mutual Funds.
