Prosecutors in the trial of Proud Boys leader Henry "Enrique" Tarrio revealed the contents of text messages between him and Metropolitan Police Department Officer Shawn Lamond, where Lamond revealed internal information to him weeks before the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021. The messages included info on Tarrio's arrest for burning a Black Lives Matter banner in December 2020.
