Protests continue worldwide as George Floyd is laid to rest –

The first of several memorial services was held in Minneapolis on June 4 at North Central University with the Rev. Al Sharpton delivering the eulogy.

On Monday, former Vice President Joe Biden met with the Floyd family on Monday at Houston eatery Lucille’s.

Floyd was laid to rest next to his mother, Larcenia Floyd, on Tuesday at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland.

On June 3, Minnesota State Attorney General Keith Ellison elevated charges against former Officer Derek Chauvin, who was videotaped kneeling on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds to second-degree murder.
