R. Nezz is a Mississippi native, graduate of Mississippi State University, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has participated in a number of talent shows and expos during college and expanded her performing to local events and open mic nights when she moved to Dallas in 2014. R. Nezz released her debut single I Am Here February 2017 and was featured on Erotic D’s King Shit album released in 2020.
