The Guardian’s Jeremiah, 45 African journalists shortlisted for 49th Sanlam awards

The Guardian’s Editor, Energy & Power, Kingsley Jeremiah, and seven other Nigerian journalists are among the 45 African journalists shortlisted for the 49th edition of the Sanlam Group Awards for Excellence in Financial Journalism. Jeremiah was nominated in three different categories in the award, which saw applications from a total of 170 entries from 13 countries on the African continent. This is the highest number yet in the competition’s 49-year history. The award, which celebrates the best of financial journalism in Africa, is jointly sponsored by Sanlam and Santam.
