NNPA NEWSWIRE — While outside of Manhattan, in the other four boroughs, rents can be found for much less, the median rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan stands at about $4,000 per month. Scantlebury said landlords require earnings of 40-times the rent for application approvals.
