Despite the continued closure of many Wayne County Parks’ amenities and specialized areas, which have remained closed during the spring season to promote proper social distancing, parks remain open to the public for activities such as walking, biking and disc golf.

Saturday in the Park at Hines Park is a great time to enjoy a brisk jog, relaxing bike ride or simply relish in the fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Other weekend options include visiting the Inkster Valley Golf Club for a round of golf, launching your boat at the Elizabeth Park Marina and Boat Launch or bringing your furry friends out to enjoy the agility equipment at the Hawthorne Ridge Park Dog Park.

All dogs must be registered at the Wayne County Parks Administrative office.

Patrons are required to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines outlined on the County website and adhere to posted signage throughout the park system.
