Among those paying tribute following the death of iconic former West Indies batsman, Sir Everton Weekes in his native Barbados on Wednesday were The International Cricket Council (ICC), Cricket West Indies (CWI) and Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) and West Indies Players' Association (WIPA).
