Saurimo — The municipal administrator of Saurimo city, eastern Lunda Sul, Neves Romão, invited Tuesday, national and foreign businessmen to invest in the region in order to create employment to young people and contribute to their development in the province.
The official was speaking to ANGOP in the framework of the festivities of the 64th anniversary of Saurimo city to be celebrated on March 28.
Neves Romão also reinforced that Saurimo is open to private investment, mainly in the agricultural sector, since it has climate conditions, water resources and fertile soil for large-scale agricultural production.
"The national or foreign entrepreneur who wants to invest in the region will not find administrative bureaucracy on the part of Saurimo's municipal administration or the government, on the contrary, he will have the greatest facilities as long as he presents credible documents and proposals to that effect," he said.
