COVID-19 has changed the traditional pre-NFL Draft process, including the elimination of the NFL Scouting Combine. The global pandemic put the fall season of HBCU football on pause. However, the HBCU Combine took on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham on April 9, allowing 42 prospects from both the 2020 and 2021 classes to be scouted for the NFL.
