'Baby-Catcher' Opens Louisiana's First Black-Owned Birth Center

Shatamia Webb’s vision to open Louisiana's first Black-owned freestanding birth center called Baby Catcher Birth Center was reportedly inspired by the midwife's own concern about not coming out of the hospital, after giving birth. KATC News reported that it will open in July.
