Neither his pleas nor those of his girlfriend could save Kadarian Mayers from being remanded to prison.When the 36-year-old of Platinum Heights, Christ Church, appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today on an indictable burglary charge, he was remanded to HMP Dodds by Magistrate Deidre McKenna.Mayers was not required to plead to the charge that between July 29 and 30, he entered the dwelling house of Allison Walker as a trespasser and stole a pair of $1 200 sunglasses; one handbag valued $123.10; a purse valued $1 106.65; one camera valued $1500; a pair of air pods worth $316.18; $150 Euros; $1 000 in cash; a birth certificate and two bank cards belonging to Walker.He is also alleged to have stolen a $3 000 iPhone, a pair of sneakers; $120 pounds sterling and $3 000 pounds sterling belonging to Jazz Bruce.The total value of the items is $16 238. 04.
