The City of Bakersfield’s positive business climate and ideal location in California’s Central Valley has proved to be an attraction for a new Amazon last mile delivery station. The new facility will be located in an existing 93,000-square-foot vacant building, located at 3500-3600 Wilson Road, that housed a former Kmart. With this announcement, Amazon will create approximately 200 new permanent jobs for Bakersfield residents.
