Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album apparently has done well: According to Rolling Stone, his sixth studio album was a commercial success and accumulated 166.5 million audio streams in its fourth week. The Grammy winner achieved his ninth No. 1 hit with “Way 2 Sexy,” which features Young Thug and Future. His lineup of singles continues, as Drake just released a slasher-animated video for “Knife Talk” featuring 21 Savage and Project Pat. Drake’s merging of Gen X and Gen Z rappers with slasher-themed, black-and-white cinematography is quite creative. The video was directed by Pablo Rochat. An ingeneous homage to old horror films, zombies, talking dolls and vintage cartoons, the video, which features a mellow beat produced by Metro Boomin and Peter Lee Johnson, finds the trio's faces embedded in archival clips — and they're brandishing what appears to be large kitchen knives.
