Marvel is making history with its first Native American-led series, Echo , starring deaf Menominee and Mohican actor Alaqua Cox. The five-episode series drops on Hulu and Disney+ Jan. 10, 2024, with the series’ availability on Hulu lasting until April 9. Echo is the first Marvel Studios series to debut the whole season at once, unlike prior shows that have come out weekly. The series is also the first Marvel series to earn a TV-MA rating. The trailer shows Cox as Maya Lopez, the superhero who also goes by her titular codename as she takes on crime while reckoning with her family and history.
