Dr. John Sampson, a surgeon at Seduction Cosmetic Surgery in Coral Gables, FL, has officially been barred from performing popular Brazilian butt lift (BBL) cosmetic procedures after one of his patients died as a result of the surgery last year. Prior to his patient’s passing, he was barred from performing BBLs or any other surgeries on patients. According to a complaint filed against Sampson’s license in 2021, both Seduction and Sampson informed the Florida Department of Health that he would only serve as the Designated Physician at Seduction Cosmetic Surgery and would not actually perform any surgeries himself. However, that was not the case.
