The V.I. Department of Health on Monday confirmed four new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the territory's death toll from the pandemic to 48. All four of the deceased were from St. Thomas.
The president also stressed the importance of keeping the economy open after months of stifling movement restrictions.
He urged citizens not to drop their guard and continue adhering to the health rules, such as wearing face masks and respecting curfew times.
