Linda Hough, an attorney for three white defendants accused of killing Black jogger Ahmaud Arbery in a suburb of Brunswick, Georgia last February, resorted to using a racial stereotype in her closing arguments on Monday. She made a remark about Arbery having "long, dirty toenails", causing gasps in the courtroom.
