Washington, D. C. - On May 18, 2021, the U. S. House of Representatives passed the Financial Inclusion in Banking Act, a bipartisan bill led by Congressman David Scott (GA-13) to help address long-standing disparities in access to traditional banking resources and economic opportunities.
