A man suspected to be a Klansman was spotted in rural Wisconsin walking with his dog dressed in a KKK hood and robe.
The image of the Klansman has been circulated widely in social media, other users noting that the KKK group has a strong presence in northern Wisconsin.
I realize that that may be offensive to some people, but it’s not a crime,” Fath said, following complaints forwarded to the department about the man in KKK robe.
Booth was contacted by the officers concerning the incident, and said that he was “simply taking his dog for a walk.”
Nevertheless, Dane County NAACP president, Gregory Jones, has described Booth’s behavior as an act of terrorism.
