During the first round of distributions, the Mayor’s Milk Initiative handed out 12,595 gallons of milk and approximately 230,000 pounds of food from the North Texas Food Bank.
During the second round of distributions, the Mayor’s Milk Initiative gave out 8,076 gallons of milk to 3,500 families, reaching more than 11,000 people.
In the third round, the Mayor’s Milk Initiative distributed nearly 9,000 gallons of milk to nearly 3,000 families, helping about 12,000 people.

The Mayor’s Milk Initiative is made possible by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s new Farmers to Families Food Box Program, which is part of the Coronavirus Farm Assistance Program (CFAP).
