Resource Hub to provide resources for residents

The Office of Welcoming Communities and Immigrant Affairs (WCIA) has launched the City of Dallas Community Resource Hub to connect residents with resources such as COVID-19 assistance programs, English literacy, food, transit, financial assistance, healthcare, education, work, immigration and legal services.
WCIA partnered with Aunt Bertha—an online platform for anyone in the U.S. to search for free or reduced-cost social services—to create the City of am glad to be working hand-in-hand with Welcoming Communities and Immigrant Affairs to create a more resilient and inclusive city,” said City Manager T.C. Broadnax.
“It’s our responsibility to promote and advance the economic, civic and social engagement of our residents, including immigrants and refugees by ensuring that everyone has access to resources that will enhance their quality of life.”
The community resource hub contains hundreds of organizations that provide a wide range of services accessible to all community members.
“As part of the Welcoming Dallas Strategic Plan, we’ve developed the online community resource hub to make it easier to access services and programs, so that the opportunities of the community community resource hub can be accessed online was established in March 2017 to connect Dallas’ diverse immigrant community with existing residents to promote inclusion and shared leadership.
