[UCT] The Emerging Researcher Programme (ERP) was established in 2003 in recognition of the urgent need to nurture early-career academics. Over the past 20 years, it has served as a robust conduit for the transfer of vital research skills from seasoned academics and the researcher development team managing the programme, to those staff beginning their academic and research journey at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
