[Ayin English] Due to the extensive military operations in Sudan, hundreds of military personnel from both sides have been captured. Since the war broke out between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in April last year, both parties have been accused of severely abusing military captives; including torture and execution.
