Terry Crews was dragged on social media for the second time in a month after he criticized the Black Lives Matter movement on Twitter this week.
“We’re so far from that bridge, Terry,” wrote Bernice King, daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “#BlackLivesMatter is, in part, a rallying cry and a protest slogan to galvanize people into doing the justice work needed to derail the deaths, dehumanization and destruction of Black lives that racism causes.
In early June, the actor warned against replacing white supremacy with its Black equivalent.
“Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy.
The Black supremacy tweet also sparked controversy and Crews defended himself to his critics.
