Earlier this month, Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, released his plan for Black America called, Lift Every Voice.
But, after a rough weekend following a contentious appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Biden campaign reposted highlights from the plan to Instagram on Sunday.

The Biden campaign used a series of slides to highlight a few promises to the African American community.
According to the post, “The Biden Plan for Black America” will close the wealth and income gap by investing in African American workers, businesses, and communities.
For their part, the Biden campaign is focusing on the fact that even before The Breakfast Club interview, they had a plan for Black America and are using this opportunity for people to become familiar with it.
A 51-year-old Tanzanian Maasai tribesman has discovered two large Tanzanite gemstones with a total weight of about 14 kilograms, authorities said on Wednesday.
Doto Biteko, the Minister of Minerals, collected the gemstone from the small-scale miner and handed him a cheque of Tsh7.74 billion Tanzanian shillings (about $3.34) on behalf of the government at a ceremony in Manyara region.
Biteko said President John Magufuli directed that the government should buy the two gemstones and place them in the National Museum in the commercial capital Dar es Salaam where tourists can admire them.
Without mentioning the date on which the small-scale miner discovered the two gemstones, Biteko thanked the miner for agreeing to sell the gemstones to the government.
In September 2017, President Magufuli ordered the army to construct a wall around the Tanzanite mining area in the north of the country as part of the government's effort to protect the precious gemstone from being smuggled out of the mining site.
He solicited the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the military Joint Chief of Staff to disperse peaceful marching demonstrators so they, the Secretary and the Chief of Staff could walk with him to a church nearby the White House so he could pose for a photo-op.
This stunt-walking with the Secretary and the Joint Chief showed the demonstrators that he as Commander in Chief was in total control of the military and could deploy them to wreak havoc on American citizens who did not stop demonstrating.
His effort to become a tyrant quickly dissipated when several military generals, including General James Mattis his former Secretary of Defense, spoke out against using the military to harass and draw arms against American citizens.

The number of people in Kenya who have tested positive for the Covid-19 has risen to 781 following the confirmation of 23 more cases.
Making the announcement Friday afternoon, Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman said 11 of the new cases were reported in Nairobi, five in Mombasa, three in Kajiado while Wajir and Kiambu recorded two each.
The new cases were discovered after the ministry conducted tests on 2,100 samples.
Two of those who tested positive in Kajiado were truck drivers.
Dr Aman also announced that three more patients succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country to 45.
THE government must seriously reconsider the way it has been running the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine centres following unflattering remarks carried in a recent United Nations report.
Although the report raised the red flag over a raft of issues, including massive looting of funds by government officials and people linked to the political elite, the grim picture it painted of isolation centres seems to justify why a number of people had fled the centres.
The UN sentiments that the deplorable state of the quarantine facilities and lack of standard operating procedures have put thousands of lives at risk means that we need to go back to the drawing board and make the necessary investments into these centres so that they can fully serve their purposes.
The authorities need to address this issue as a matter of urgency given that returning citizens, many of whom occupy these centres, have accounted for the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
It is shocking that a quarantine centre would not ensure adherence to social distancing, standard hygiene, adequate staff and medical care, as is the case at these centres, implying that a significant number of returning citizens might actually contract the virus at these centres.
