Fans were finally able to see the moment when Robert “Red” Rushing proposed to Toya Johnson, and it was the wholesome happily ever after that they’d hoped for.
The couple, who started dating in 2017, have been engaged for some time, and fans finally got to see their proposal ceremony, which actually took place in late 2019, on Monday night’s season finale of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.”
Toya wasn’t shy about addressing her hesitation about getting married for a third time during her and Red’s time on the show, but when he got down on that knee with that mountain-sized rock, those hesitations were nowhere to be seen.
Her daughter Reginae, whose father is rapper Lil Wayne, was thrilled for her mom and shared a sweet message congratulating the couple.
Red and Toya are the proud parents of 2-year-old daughter Reign Rushing, born February 2018.
