Troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 3 Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS) have again neutralised a terrorist camp in Taraba State. The breakthrough, which was achieved on Sunday, was said to have taken place at Ikiyayo Forest in Wukari Local Government Council of the state. The Army, while announcing on Monday via its official communication on X, said its personnel, acting on credible intelligence, had stormed and destroyed a terrorist hideout in the LGA. During the combing of the forest, the troops, the statement said, encountered the terrorists, and engaged them in a heavy gunfight which led to the neutralisation
