Vincentian Police have announced that more charges are likely as investigations continue into Thursday's attack on Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, during a protest outside parliament in Kingstown organised by the opposition New Democratic Party (NDP), trade unions and other groups. Local media quoted opposition leader, Dr. Godwin Friday, as saying that officers searched the homes of ten individuals, whom he identified as activists, business people and opposition spokespersons, in connection with the protests. “It’s quite clear that the searches were a signal from the head of Government that they are coming for those in the forefront of the demonstration”,
