The Virginia General Assembly recognized the New Chesapeake Men For Progress Education Foundation (NCMPEF) for its significant contributions to youth development, including awarding $229,000 in scholarships, supporting mentoring programs, and funding school supply grants. The foundation will host its 17th Annual Black Male Achievement and Scholarship Breakfast in April, awarding $30,000 in scholarships this year.
