Dondre Whitfield has been performing for 35 years but you may not remember that he began his career appearing in a recurring role as Robert Foreman on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show.
Whitfield is a three-time Emmy nominee with audiences now getting to know him for his role as Remy Newell on the critically acclaimed series “Queen Sugar.”
“After 35 years of doing this, this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to play a man who is not a caricature,” said Whitfield to Vanity Fair.
