Luanda — Over 12,000 disadvantaged residents of Cacuaco municipality, in Luanda, benefit from free meals supplied by the local administration, within the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Luanda governor, Sérgio Luther Rescova, Wednesday assessed the community kitchens involved in the project which are located in the neighborhoods of Mayombe, Trinta and Canguengue, having been informed that the meals are distributed three times a week, benefiting children, elderly and pregnant women.
Speaking to press, the Cacuaco's municipal administrator Auxílio Jacob, said that the initiative arises due to the number of inhabitants that this district has.
According to the administrator, the meals prepared vary and are always accompanied by a vegetable soup.
