Authorities were searching near Mulholland Drive on Saturday evening for a small, single-engine aircraft after it apparently lost contact with air traffic control, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. The aircraft was believed to be traveling from Santa Monica to the Van Nuys Airport before it lost contact with air traffic control around 8 p.m.,
