R&B legend, music rights activist, author and ambassador of the Supremes, Mary Wilson is celebrated by millions all over the world as a member of the Supremes.
During the 1960s, the Supremes became Motown’s most successful act, and are the best-charting female group in US history — as well as one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.
Wilson is also a New York Times Best Seller, with the release of her autobiography, Dreamgirl: My Life As a Supreme, and later Supreme Faith: Someday We’ll Be Together, while continuing a successful career as a concert performer and is a musicians’ rights activist.
Mary Wilson, Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, the Supremes, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
