By: Tadi Abedje The LAPD is looking into a situation and determining whether police went overboard in their detainment of New Orleans Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes. On July 28 around 2:50 a.m., police were called due to a domestic disturbance in Woodland Hills, California. When they arrived, the police encountered Hayes outside of the residence and he was trying to enter the house, despite the police telling him to stay outside. According to police, he refused to cooperate but was told by officers repeatedly to stay outside.
