Charleston County School District (CCSD) announces and welcomes Stephanie Spann as principal at Simmons-Pinckney Middle School.
Spann has served as an assistant principal at James Island Charter High for the past nine years.
She went on to serve in the same position at Carolina Forest Education Center, Berkeley High School, Baptist Hill High School, and R.D. Schroder Middle School over the next 11 years.
Spann entered administration in 2008 as an assistant administrator at St. John’s High School overseeing the school’s Ninth Grade Academy.
Two years later, she joined the staff at Burke High as an assistant principal where she was responsible for daily operations of middle grades programs and coordinated school testing for PASS and MAP.
