Tinubu appoints Mohammed DG NHSA

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Umar Mohammed as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency. The announcement was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement issued on Saturday. Mr. Mohammed, an architect and expert in construction technology and environmental management, is expected to enhance the agency’s operations. His role includes overseeing the maintenance of hydrological stations across Nigeria, conducting groundwater exploration, and utilizing scientific methods to gather essential hydrological and hydrogeological data.
